Oh god just the comment section alone makes me overflow with love for my province. So glad you enjoyed your time here! I haven’t been to Gros Morne yet, which is terrible considering I lived in the west coast for two years.

I had the good fortune to visit the Maritime provinces last summer — and Newfoundland — because, as I was told — it’s NOT a maritime province! I found them all amazing. But there’s something very special about Newfoundland, a combination of rugged landscapes, fascinating history, the seemingly unending ocean, the beautiful coastal villages, the extensive wetlands and heath, the way of life of the fishermen, the great music, the people themselves, etc etc.
